A native of the state of New York, Alexandra has been published in numerous journals nationwide including 32PoemsThe Cincinnati Review, River Styx, The Denver Quarterly, and The Connecticut Review. Her full-length collection of poems, The Park of Upside-Down Chairs, was published by CW Books in 2010, and her chapbook, Dear Jean Seberg (2011), won the Burnside Review Chapbook Contest, judged by Matthew Dickman. Her most recent chapbook is A Liquid Bird Inside the Night (Red Glass Books, 2015). Alexandra designs and teaches online intensive poetry workshops and is a teaching artist for The Rooster Moans Poetry Collective (www.poetrycoop.com) and she taught Writing and Rhetoric for eight years at Stony Brook University in New York.
