We pushed carts down S. Alamo street, throughout Hemisfair Park and also had the back bed of a red pickup truck filled to the brim with books of all genres. We were able to give away every single book that was donated.

Over in Hemisfair Park, Dramatic Readers Theater actor Pamela Dean Kenny read excerpts from the San Antonio Public Library’s Big Read selection Bless Me, Ultima.

We’d like to thank all of our patrons and volunteers who donated books or their time to make Gemini Ink’s involvement in Luminaria such a success. ¡Mil gracias!

We’re seeking books of all genres to pass out at San Antonio’s celebration of arts and artists, Luminaria. At last year’s event, Gemini Ink gave away over 3,000 donated books as part of Libro Libre. Help us do this again by dropping off your new or gently used books at our office, located at 513 S. Presa. Or, if you prefer call ahead and we can send someone to pick up the books for you.
