Poetry Workshop: Hashtag Revision with Sheila Black
June 10 @ 10:00 am - 3:00 pm$115
In this intermediate one-day workshop, explore different strategies for revising a poem and re-envisioning your work. We will look at strategies with language, experiments with form, ways to speed up and/or slow down a poem, what it means to put your poem “on a diet” and a whole range of approaches to telling a story within the frame of a poem. One week ahead of the workshop, submit 1-3 poems you want to revise and let the fun begin! Done right, revision can be a hugely generative experience and a way of breaking new poetic boundaries.
Workshop cost includes a boxed lunch.
