Explore any category of fiction and celebrate not censoring yourself in the least as you delve deep into the play and process of fiction writing. One can still "write what you know" as the old maxim goes, but also, one can “write towards what you do not yet know,” which can be even more thrilling for one's self and one’s readers. Students will write, workshop, revise, and draft works of fiction with the goal of creating a completed short story or the beginnings of a novel by the end of the course.

LA Confidential is a crime novel of astonishing detail and scope written by the bestselling author of The Black Dahlia.
