Se fue la Hippo y Bruno también—a bilingual, bicultural collection of stories

WIC Writer-in-Residence Bárbara Renaud González facilitated a memoir workshop with some 8-10 senior citizens beginning last summer through the fall 2012. The result—Se fue la Hippo y Bruno también—a bilingual, bicultural collection of “raucous, unsettling, hemispheric and lovelorn tales, held together with the innocence of the ’30s, ’40s, ’50s, and the awakening of the ’60s.”
