Voice in Creative Non-Fiction

Everyone has an interesting story to tell about his or her own lives. Do you have an experience you’d like to turn into a story or essay? In this class we will work to see how voice and tone can help shape your life story into a page turner. What about the speaker of a story makes the reader feel compelled to listen? This class will explore different modes of writing creative non-fiction, including blogs, zines, and short-shorts.
