Poetry’s Vast Spaces: Exploring the Boundaries of Contemporary Poetry

April 21 @ 10:00 am - 3:00 pm

$90.00

This workshop traces the boundaries of poetry, all for the sake of pushing them out even further! Spend a day exploring everything from the prose poem’s penchant for unlikely subjects, to found poetry, to the world of verbo-visual poems that can be “read” or “viewed.” Through readings and writing exercises, widen your sense of what a poem can do or be. Try on many poetic hats, including using and working with real-world materials.

Here’s Aaron discussing his upcoming class on YouTube.

A boxed lunch is included in this workshop.
