Slowing Up: How a “Lazy and Happy” Approach to Fiction Can Revolutionize Your Writing

March 14 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

We live in a world driven by deadlines, instant messaging, and “power poses,” where it’s tempting to treat our fiction as another item on the “to-do” list. But this is a sure way to make our characters clam up. What if writing felt less like a chore, and more like a hammock? Drawing on the insights of writing gurus such as Louise DeSalvo and Brenda Ueland, learn how to slow down and write with more depth and satisfaction. This stimulating workshop will enrich your writing process and make you fall in love with fiction writing all over again.

This is a multi-session workshop. Classes take place on Wednesdays, Mar 14, 21, 28, & Apr 4
