Add to your tool box of poetic styles by exploring the versatile form of the prose poem. Occupying a popular and feisty place in the world of contemporary letters, this genre can offer poets, and even curious prose writers, a whole new range of possibilities in style, tone and subject matter. Join us as we examine the challenges and freedoms a prose poem offers, and stretch your poetic voice in surprising and new directions. Discuss a wide array of prose poems and respond to innovative writing prompts to produce an exciting and diverse selection of work by the end of this workshop.
