Join award-winning author Barbara Renaud González for a  workshop that explores your story as part of the Tricentennial intersection of people in Texas. This online workshop will approach the writing of memoir using diverse genres and approaches, framed by the multicultural, bicultural, languages and history of Texas. Links to excerpts and sources will be provided. 

Barbara Renaud González is the award-winning author of four books, including the first Chicana novel to be published by UT Press, Golondrina, why did you leave me?. Her recent epistolary biography on the life of voting rights champion Willie Velasquez, Dear San Antonio, I’m gone but not lost, was published by Auris Books. Ms. Renaud Gonzalez is from South Texas, and received an MSW from the University of Michigan.
