DESCRIPTION:Zine & Poetry Workshop with Mariana Cid De León\nPresented by Contemporary at Blue Star in Partnership with Gemini Ink \nThe Art of Gathering invites high school students to explore community and celebration through creative writing and self-publishing. As a collaborative extension of Contemporary at Blue Star’s MOSAIC Student Artist Program and Gemini Ink’s literary initiatives\, this workshop guides students to write three original poems and learn zine-making techniques to combine text and imagery into a cohesive\, self-published visual piece. \n\nCost: Free (All materials provided; no experience required)\nEligibility: Open to High School Students\n\nSchedule & Format\n\nDates: June 10 – July 2\, 2026\nDays/Times: Wed–Fri\, 9am–12pm\nFormat: Flexible\, open-studio format.
