This 4-week workshop takes place Wed, Oct 11, 18, 25, Nov 1.

Immerse yourself in the world of short short fiction and discover where brevity can take you. In this four-week workshop, writers will expand their fiction-writing process by crafting their own short shorts as they read excellent short works by Jamaica Kincaid, Dave Eggers, Donald Barthelme, and Rahawa Haile. We will dissect the secrets of writing effective short short fiction as we attempt to discover what it is, why it is, and how we can find new sources of inspiration by discovering how less can truly be more.
