The Art of Gathering invites high school students to explore community and celebration through creative writing and self-publishing. As a collaborative extension of Contemporary at Blue Star’s MOSAIC Student Artist Program and Gemini Ink’s literary initiatives, this workshop guides students to write three original poems and learn zine-making techniques to combine text and imagery into a cohesive, self-published visual piece.
- Cost: Free (All materials provided; no experience required)
- Eligibility: Open to High School Students
Schedule & Format
- Dates: June 10 – July 2, 2026
- Days/Times: Wed–Fri, 9am–12pm
- Format: Flexible, open-studio format. Students can select the specific sessions and dates that best fit their schedules and work at their own pace.
Application Requirements
The MOSAIC Student Artist Program provides free access to quality arts education, studio practice, and leadership development.
