In this two-part lecture, writers at any stage in their craft will learn practical revision strategies to help refine and reimagine their works-in-progress. We will discuss how to assess what needs to be revised, including beginnings and endings, scenes and plots, syntax and diction, metaphors and more. Then, we’ll explore visual organization tools such as note cards, sticky notes, and highlighters.
