You published a book. Now what? Promoting your work can feel daunting if you have no marketing experience. Learn how to build a clear pre- and post-launch plan that will ensure your book finds its readers!
In this two-session workshop, we will develop your brand; craft an elevator pitch; draft promotional materials for your new or forthcoming book, or big book idea; and build a marketing plan. We will use Canva, LinkTree, Instagram, and more. If you don’t have access to any of these platforms, no worries, you can still follow along and learn. Students will have the opportunity to create their own content and receive instructor and peer feedback.
This course is for writers of all skill levels and genres with a new, imagined, or forthcoming collection of work, 18+.
As a student, you will leave this class with:
- An understanding of your own brand identity
- An elevator pitch that gets potential readers excited about your work
- A plan of action for marketing and promoting your book in-person and online
