White Middle School Broadsides
Happy #pubdate to our White Middle School students who composed poems last spring in one of our workshops that explored identity through spoken word poetry, realistic fiction, and mythology. The teaching artists provided 24 hours of instruction in creative writing, guiding students through the study of mentor texts with a focus on author intent and imaginative writing prompts for spoken word, fiction, and mythology. The final product was this collection of broadsides.
